Here are the materials you will need to crochet these motifs:

Small amount of Red Heart Super Saver Pastel Pink worsted weight yarn

Size H crochet hook

Yarnneedle (for weavings ends in)

Scissors

Six-sided motif:

This motif measures approximately 3 1/4" in diameter.

Round One: Chain four, join with a slip stitch in the first chain to form a ring, chain six, work one double crochet into the chain four ring you just made, chain three, * work one double crochet into the chain four ring, chain three, repeat these instructions from * 3 more times, join with a slip stitch in the third chain of the beginning chain six (you will now have a total of six double crochets and six chain three spaces (the beginning chain six counts as one double crochet and one chain three space)).

Round Two: Slip stitch into the first chain three space, chain three, work (two double crochets, one treble crochet, and three double crochets) into the same chain three space, work (three double crochets, one treble crochet, and three double crochets) in the next chain three space and in each chain three space around, join with a slip stitch in the top of the beginning chain three (you now have a total of thirty-six double crochets and six treble crochets). Fasten off and weave ends in securely.

Square motif:

This motif measures 2 1/2" square.

Round One: Chain four, join with a slip stitch in the first chain to form a ring, chain six, work one double crochet into the chain four ring you just made, chain three, work one double crochet into the ring, chain three, work one double crochet into the ring, chain three, join with a slip stitch in the third chain of the beginning chain six (you now have a total of four double crochets and four chain three spaces (the beginning chain six counts as one double crochet and one chain three space)).

Round Two: Slip stitch into the first chain three space, chain three, work (two double crochets, chain three, three double crochets) in the same chain three space, work (three double crochets, chain three, three double crochets) in the next chain three space and in each chain three space around, join with a slip stitch in the top of the beginning chain three (you now have a total of twenty-four double crochets and four chain three spaces). Fasten off and weave ends in securely.
